DeGeneration

Conceived: 12/2001 – Released: 5/2005
Degeneration, a multiplayer modification for Return to Castle Wolfenstein, takes place during World War II just after Nikola Tesla’s death when his papers, containing scientific data and information about “Death Rays” vanished. Not too soon after, the Allies had learned these plans had fallen into Axis hands and hurried to determine their best course of action. Unfortunately they learned their only defense would be to beat the Germans to completion of such a weapon. As both sides neared completion, they hit a snag realizing that, to power the Death Ray, the plans call for a power source of great magnitude. They needed a generator stronger than anyone had ever built before and after polling the surrounding areas, it was clear the shortage of parts, due to war efforts, meant the project would have to be moved. As the Allied scouts set out for parts, commanders get word that the Axis powers are already planning an offensive in their direction hoping to thwart their efforts. So begins the race to DeGeneration.

CRASH Squad

Conceived: 10/2000 – Released: 1/2001
CRASH Squad is a multiplayer modification to the game of Kingpin about the struggle between the CRASH Squad, LA’s anti-gang suppression unit and the Crenshaw Mafia, a notorious LA street gang.CRASH, an acronym for Community Resources Against Street Hoodlums, is Los Angeles’s Rampart Division gang suppression unit and was quite possibly one of the biggest cases of Police Department corruption to date. Unjustified arrests, beatings, drug dealing, witness intimidation, illegal shootings, planting of evidence, frame-ups and perjury are just a fraction of the things this anti-gang unit was accused of.Inglewood’s claustrophobic network of two-story apartments linked by alleyways and narrow streets sits directly under the LAX flight path where airplanes on final descent buzz the neighborhood all day long. This section of L.A., the Crenshaw District, has often been portrayed in motion pictures as either the “place to be” or the “place not to be” and is the turf of a Blood gang called the Crenshaw Mafia.
